I began creating art at age 7, spending time discovering acrylic paint from my grandma. At the time she lived in Madera, CA and had sparked a passion for art that will last me a lifetime. I will forever cherish the time spent learning from her.

My husband and I now live in a charming waterfront town in Edmonds, WA. As time passes, our children continue to grow, our business, Lorinda’s Salon Spa Store, is well established and time has allowed me to develop my craft. I enjoy taking classes and exploring my creativity through art. Learning many different forms and mediums of art, I have discovered the mediums which elicit the most inspiration, emotions and creativity.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting from Central Washington University. Additionally, I am a licensed cosmetologist, esthetician, and a certified permanent make-up artist. Through my experiences, professionally and personally, I have encountered the gifts of many talented mentors and friends.  My peers continue to guide me and support me through my growth.
